GASTONIA - Pauline “Polly” Bradshaw, 77, passed away July 6, 2008, at Gaston Memorial Hospital.

She was born in Gaston County on March 21, 1931, daughter of the late Robert Moore and the late Mae Lewis Mobley.

Mrs. Bradshaw was a member of Chapel Grove Baptist Church.

Funeral service will be 3 p.m. Wednesday at Greene Funeral Service - West Chapel in Gastonia, with the Rev. Dick Whitner officiating.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Survivors include her husband, Al Bradshaw, to whom she was married to for 60 years; daughter and son-in-law, Millie and Rodney Huss; grandchildren and spouses, Leigh and Warren Gibson, Rodney and Cindy Huss, Brad and Jada Huss; great-grandchildren, Greylen, Weston, Locklen Gibson, Dawson, Carrie, Jacob and Hayden Huss; stepmother, Sybil Moore; brothers and sister-in-law, Dean Mobley, Larry and Amy Moore; sisters and brothers-in-law, Pat and Parmer Spurlin, Joyce Childers, Nancy and Dale Clark; sisters-in-law, Doris Bradshaw and Frances Wilson; brother-in-law, Chouvis Ballard and a number of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Joyce Bradshaw; brother, Keith Mobley and sister, Lucille Black.

Interment will be in Westview Gardens in Bessemer City.

I know it has been some time since we have last updated this site and given you an idea of what is going on with the family. I do not intend to be long on this one, but I do want to share with you all some of most recent grief and ask for your sincere prayers.

As of tonight, July 6 - around 9 PM, my grandmother, Polly Bradshaw, passed away. Not too clear on all the specifics and do not desire to share at this time, but please be in prayer for my mom, Millie - and my grandfather, Al Bradshaw as we go through this grieving process.
